MARRIAGE GUIDANCE

I am passionate about human development and transformation, and I firmly believe that nothing is impossible to achieve, no matter how great it may seem.

Therefore, if you want to give your relationship a chance, you are in the right place; there is nothing that the human being proposes that cannot be achieved, as long as they are committed to working on it.

I graduated in Psychology and obtained certification in Executive and Team Coaching from the “Lider-haz-go” School, where I am currently a facilitator for their online training programs.

Thanks to this training, I have gained a holistic view of the human being, which allows me to work with individuals across the dimensions of language, body, and emotion. This approach is essential for understanding the role each person occupies in relationships.

Additionally, through Team Coaching, I acquired further knowledge and skills to intervene in couples’ relationships, equipping them with tools for effective interaction, improving their functioning, and transforming their dynamics into healthier, more productive ones.

I provide both face-to-face and online Marriage Guidance options. Face-to-face sessions offer a warm, focused environment for couples to engage deeply, enhancing the personal connection that many value in guidance sessions. Online sessions, however, are equally impactful, with the added flexibility to connect from anywhere.

I first started conducting online sessions when I began traveling across European countries, ensuring continuous support for my clients regardless of location. Over time, I became an expert in online marriage guidance, particularly in helping couples who may not be in the same location, allowing both partners to participate remotely.

This approach has proven highly effective, enabling couples to work on their relationship without geographical constraints.

Whether face-to-face or online, Marriage Guidance is a valuable journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling relationship, with tools that will continue to support your bond well beyond our sessions.

What Does Marriage Guidance Involve?

You may be wondering what marriage guidance is like, so I will start by explaining that it is a process that requires the presence of the couples therapist and both members of the relationship. Sometimes, I find that only one partner wishes to initiate a process, which is not feasible in any case.
The couples therapy specialist intervenes in the couple and the relationship that has been constructed between them, not on the individual in a particular manner. For that, we would need to initiate an individual Coaching or Therapy process.
Thus, all exercises in marriage guidance are aimed at transforming the relationship, even if some of them are worked on individually.

A marriage guidance process has fundamental bases that include:

Analyzing the functioning of the system and the roles that each partner occupies within it

Evaluating the functionality of each role within the couple relationship
Exploring the emotions and behaviors of each role to ensure their well-being within the relationship
Working with each individual on the functionality of their particular role
Providing tools for communication, empathy, and decision-making to each individual
Designing new agreements and alliances to create a nurturing and comfortable environment within the couple
Promoting the use of acquired tools and established new agreements
Implementing review actions to ensure the proper functioning of the new living guidelines
Providing the system with autonomy and interdependence to ensure healthy and functional relationships

This entire process occurs through a conversational exploration process to identify potential sources of conflict and utilize various dynamics for marriage guidance. These dynamics are specifically designed to be practiced as a couple during the session, with the aim of transferring their use to the couple’s daily or domestic environment.

When to Seek Marriage Guidance?

The reasons that may lead you to comprehensive marriage guidance can be very varied; however, they can all be summarized in one: to establish healthy interaction dynamics that favor freedom, respect, and growth for both members of the couple.
The time a couple should have been together to seek psychological couples therapy can vary greatly.
Some couples need to review their functioning after being together for a long time, as time, cohabitation, or the accumulation of experiences and challenges they have faced together may have deteriorated the relationship.
However, there are cases where couples encounter circumstances within the first years or even months of their relationship that could jeopardize it. Thus, they need the intervention of a couples therapy specialist who can provide them with tools to face the challenges they may be experiencing.
Below, I mention very common situations that may be reasons for seeking marriage guidance:

Deterioration of the relationship due to the passage of time
Communication problems
The emergence of third parties in the relationship
Deterioration of cohabitation caused by various circumstances
Differences in the goals of each member
Deficiencies in balancing personal and work life, etc.

Objectives of Marriage guidance

The main objectives of online marriage guidance are:

Inverting the role dynamics that may be a source of conflict in the relationship
Providing tools for communication, empathy, and decision-making to each individual to foster freedom and effective communication within the couple
Establishing new agreements and alliances to create a nurturing and comfortable environment within the couple
Including relaxation and enjoyment spaces in the relationship to contribute to an environment that encourages communication between partners

Benefits of Marriage Guidance

Communication is present in all facets of human life and occupies an essential place in all relationships, especially in those of couples.

Thus, one of the main aspects in which marriage guidance helps is improving communication within the relationship.

Through a marriage guidance process, you will become aware of the main obstacles you face regarding communication in the intimate setting of the relationship, understanding the true causes of existing conflicts.

There is thorough work on the types of conversations that occur, and members are equipped with tools for empathy and assertiveness to transform toxic and ineffective conversations into constructive ones, which, as their name indicates, will contribute to establishing new pillars in the relationship.

This new way of communicating will facilitate new processes of interaction with each other, based on self-confidence and security within oneself. Only in this way can confidence and security in each other increase.

Additionally, during the process, you will get to know yourself and your partner much better, reinforcing the relationship and the commitment to overcome any obstacles or conflicts you may be facing.

Marriage Guidance can be transformative, offering couples the opportunity to rebuild trust, improve communication, and deepen their emotional connection. Through this process, couples often gain a better understanding of each other’s needs, develop healthier ways to navigate conflicts, and establish a stronger foundation for a lasting, fulfilling relationship.

Many couples begin to see the benefits within the first few sessions, as they start implementing effective tools for a more balanced and resilient partnership.

Opinions and Real Experiences from Marriage Guidance

    A. M

Doing marriage guidance with Beatriz helped me not only to have a healthier relationship with my husband but also to know myself much better. I realized that the source of our problems was my own fears and lack of self-confidence.

I spent years blaming my partner for things that bothered me, and thanks to the therapy and the couples therapy exercises, I discovered that I was the one provoking certain situations.
It changed the way I communicated with him and set my own boundaries in the relationship.

I couldn’t be happier to have gone through this process with Beatriz, and I seriously recommend it to any couple that believes theirs has no solution because when you start to change certain behaviors, the relationship begins to improve very quickly.
